Chinese automotive products continue to receive bad news
about the lack of reasonable crash protection with the recall of all 1,664 Chery J11 that have arrived
in Australia.
Apparently the side impact capabilities of the vehicle may not adequately protect the occupants in the
event of a collision.
Hence those unfortunate enough to have acquired a Chery J11 are being advised to contact their dealer
to have the backrest assembly on each front seat replaced in addition to modifications to the centre
console and the side pillars.
