BMW will expand its 1-Series Coupé line-up with the
introduction of a new model priced from $47,400*.
The BMW 120i Coupé, powered by a 115 kW four-cylinder engine with double VANOS and Valvetronic
technology, will arrive locally in May, and joins the 123d, 125i and 135i M Sport in the 1 Series
Coupé line-up.
First launched back in 2008, the 1 Series Coupé has gone on to achieve over 2,900 sales in
Australia. Together with the Convertible, which also arrived in 2008, total sales for the new
models topped 6,100 units.

Despite becoming the most affordable BMW Coupé offered for sale in Australia, the new BMW 120i
Coupé features the typical high level of BMW specification.
Standard equipment includes 17-inch light-alloy wheels, sports seats with electric backrest,
Boston leather upholstery, sports leather steering wheel, cruise control, rear parking sensors,
fog lights, ambient lighting package, 60:40 split-fold rear seats, storage compartment package,
rain sensor, Bluetooth, USB, 6-speaker stereo system and BMW’s full complement of active and
passive safety equipment including brake force display as well as warning triangle and first aid
kit.
Dealers are now taking orders for the BMW 120i Coupé with first cars arriving in May.
