28th March, 2006 Bentley's new convertible, the Continental GTC will debut at New York's Motor Show on Friday, 14th April, 2006. Customer deliveries will commence prior to the end of the year. It has not yet been announced when the first Australian delivery will be effected. |

The new luxury 2+2 convertible completes the Bentley Continental model range following the introduction of the successful Continental GT in 2003 and four-door Continental Flying Spur last year. The new Continental GTC goes on sale in late 2006. The Continental GTC will join Bentley’s other convertible, the Arnage-derived Azure, in a line-up which will now offer two distinctly different convertibles. The Azure, Bentley's flagship four-seater convertible, goes on sale in the northern spring of 2006, thus beating the new Continental GTC to the market. |
Powered by a 12-cylinder engine, the all-wheel drive Continental GTC has a top speed of approximately 304 km/h (190mph). The car features advanced air suspension and an ultra-stiff body structure. The Next Car team expects full details and specifications of the new Continental GTC will be announced at the New York Motor Show. More news:Audi's Final DTM Test
