Released earlier in the year, the Menindee LKS motor home offers the
astute buyer every conceivable luxury and it is conveniently sized at 8 metres on the road, expanding out the rear and
drivers side to increase the living area when pulled up for the day.
The aerodynamic styling of the Menindee LKS is enhanced by the smooth curves of the low profile fibreglass front
complimented by the contoured skylight and the flush fitting tinted glass frameless windows.
No one can argue that the Menindee LKS doesn’t offer an extensive range of standard features both inside and out, such
as the large outdoor LCD television (one of three on-board), an automatic satellite dish, solar panels, washing machine,
electric entry steps, towbar, BBQ gas fitting, internal and external shower and the luxury of being able to press a
button and the electric awning opens up all accentuating the motor homing experience.
Spacious yet manoeuvrable, the Menindee LKS offers an electric slide out wall in the living room, extending to provide
extra living space, accompanied by mid-mounted electronic stabilisers for additional stability.
Uniquely, the Menindee LKS is equipped with a second slide-out, one that extends the size of the main bedroom by
sliding out the rear of the motor home – the lounge converts to a comfortable bed.
Internally, the décor is modern and combines high gloss cabinet finish, spectacularly contrasted against a background
of dark timber plank look flooring and the choice of thirteen fabric colour selections, spot lit by LED down lights
throughout competing with concealed ceiling and cupboard lighting.
The kitchen is stylish with large sliding drawers, a spacious bench top with a stylish matched stainless steel sink
and cook top, over the built in oven and grille.
The bathroom is conveniently located to separate the bedroom from the living area and can be secured for privacy
utilising the large door. Wash away the day’s adventures with a steaming hot shower, water splash avoided by the
convenient shower screen door.

Partnering with Mercedes Benz, the chassis of choice for the Menindee LKS is a Mercedes-Benz 519 Sprinter cab
chassis powered by a 3 litre Intercooled common rail turbo diesel engine generating 140kw of power, coupled with a 7
speed fully automatic transmission.
Standard chassis features include ABS braking, passenger and driver safety airbags, ESP, ASR and other safety related
functions, comfortable swivel front seats upholstered in matching fabric collection to what is selected as the interior
motor home colour, automatic cabin air conditioning, electrically operated windows and mirrors, cruise control, remote
central locking, trip computer, reversing camera and infotainment system incorporating a touch screen controls and
Satellite navigation.
Built to Avida’s exacting standards, the Menindee LKS offers thicker, stronger sandwich panel walls, floor and
ceiling, all fully insulated to suppress excessive road noise and for protection from various climatic conditions. Unique
to Avida, the under floor is lined with metal sheeting to protect the floor against road debris and the weather.
The name Menindee comes from the Menindee Lakes - an outback region of New South Wales, part of the Darling River
Run.
The Menindee Lakes is a haven for bird watchers, even more species of birds than Kakadu in Northern Territory and it
is a fisherman’s paradise too. It is a place renowned for its magical sunsets and many a motor homers dream location.
When full, the lake holds three and a half times the volume of Sydney Harbour.
