For 2015, the Audi A1 Sportback has been refreshed with a sharper design, new engines and changes to the specification
levels.
The all-new three-cylinder 1.0 TFSI engine takes its place as the new entry point into the A1 range, delivering a mix
of performance and efficiency. With 70kW and 160Nm, the new entry model goes from 0 to 100km/h in 11.1 seconds when
equipped with the optional seven-speed S tronic transmission (for those patient enough to wait long enough to record the
time).

An all-new 1.8 TFSI engine has also been introduced into the A1 Sportback range, at the very top. It boasts strong
performance, with the help of its 141kW of power and 250Nm of torque. Matched to the standard seven-speed S tronic, it
will sprint to 100km/h in 6.9 seconds.
In between these two engines sits the 1.4 TFSI model, with 92kW/200Nm. Like the others, it benefits from Audi’s
modular efficiency platform, with features like start-stop technology and advanced thermal management. With a 0-100km/h
performance figure of 8.9 seconds it neatly fits between the bottom end and the top end.
The Audi A1 Sportback has a 5-star ANCAP safety rating and is equipped with six airbags.
The new Audi A1 Sportback range has been separated into three spec levels, based on their engine: the 1.0 TFSI
entry-level, the 1.4 TFSI Sport and the 1.8 TFSI S line. All three models offer a high level of standard features, of
which highlights include:
