Although not scheduled for a local release until late June 2010, one
example of Aston Martin new Rapide 4 door sports saloon has arrived in Australia.
The new saloon will be displayed to interested parties from today at predetermined locations.
Prices aren't yet available, but once released these details will be published by Next Car.
Powered by a hand-built V12 engine, the Rapide expands the Aston Martin line-up. Other models include the
Vantage (in both V8 and V12 form), the DB9 and DBS. Additionally, the famous British company will have their first
One-77 models on the road soon.

The Aston Martin Rapide features a hand-built 6.0-litre V12 engine, specifically tuned six-speed Touchtronic 2
automatic transmission, Adaptive Suspension and a 1,000 watt Bang & Olufsen audio system as standard fitment to all
vehicles. With luxurious space for up to four adults; the Rapide offers practicality and the engaging driving
experience synonymous with all Aston Martins.
Priced from $366,280.00 (plus dealer delivery and the various statutory on-road costs), the Rapide is now on
sale through Aston Martin dealers.
